Plans are under way for a Blue Ridge Parkway viewshed tree planting on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Set up and registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. respectively.

The area designated for planting is the viewshed across the field from the 220 north on-off ramp. Volunteers are needed on the day of the event to assist in set up, volunteer registration, planting guidance, environmental demonstrations, and more.

Parking and a registration tent will be at Clearbrook Elementary School.

Shuttle service will start at 9:00 and will run on-going until the event ends—from Clearbrook Elementary to the site and back
